Gloved hands hold a Placenta In The Birth Room

Megan and Christine are being hosted by Dr.Jessica with Birth Unlimited at the Arbor Birth Centre, Friday September 27 from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

The interactive circle and presentation is called 'Placentas: Beyond the Afterbirth', and will introduce the placenta as so much more than an endocrine organ.

In the 90 mins, we'll cover:

• the placenta through conception and the 1st trimester

• protecting the birth of the placenta

• honouring the placenta in both the fresh postpartum space, and weeks/months that follow

• local resources on how to honor the placenta.

This event is for birth workers, parents, care providers, and anyone who is placenta-curious.
